Drawdown
The peak-to-trough drop in your account equity, usually shown as a percentage.
Drawdown measures how far you fall from a high-water mark before making a new high. It matters more than headline returns because deep drawdowns are what blow up accounts and break discipline. Position sizing and a daily loss cap are the main tools for keeping it survivable.
